The latest graduates of NITL’s taught M.Sc. programmes were recently conferred with their awards at Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral (see:http://www.nitl.ie/Congratulations_to_MSc_Graduates/Default.510.html). In additional to our taught M.Sc. programmes, we also offer structured programmes of research study that lead to award of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. These programmes involve the completion of a specialised research project in a specific SCM domain and aim to simultaneously develop a range of both discipline-specific and transferrable skills and competencies utilizable by industry and the professions.

NITL would like to congratulate Aoife O’Riordan who was conferred with her M.Phil. award at the most recent DIT graduation ceremony. Her thesis was entitled “An Investigation into Outsourcing Practices in Ireland and their Impact on Business Performance”. Her research in this area has resulted in the publication of several conference papers, magazine articles and book chapters. Aoife was previously a participant in our Executive Masters programmes from which she graduated in 2011. Thus, she holds the distinction of being the first person to successfully complete two Masters degrees with NITL! Aoife currently works with Diageo and is based in Scotland.
