NITL is celebrating its 15th birthday this year and our award winning Masters programme is fast approaching its own 15th birthday. Over that period, many of Ireland’s leading supply chain professionals have studied with us and many of our graduates are now recognised supply chain leaders across a variety of sectors. It is appropriate, therefore, that as part of our 15th birthday celebrations we are launching an NITL Alumni Group. Membership of this group will be open to all graduates of NITL’s M.Sc. programme in SCM, as well to current course participants. Its primary purpose will be to facilitate networking amongst likeminded supply chain professionals with a view to promoting supply chain excellence through effective collaboration.

NITL’s Edward Sweeney has assembled a group of graduates and current programme participants to scope the work of the proposed Alumni Group and to plan a launch event. We are pleased to announce that this event will take place in Dublin on the evening of Thursday November 14th. The event will include a keynote address by one of the world’s foremost SCM thought leaders, Professor Martin Christopher. We will announce further details in due course. This is an exciting development and the launch event promises to be a great evening. NITL would like to record its thanks to those alumni and current programme participants who have given of their time and ideas in the planning of this initiative.
