The 18th Annual Logistics Research Network (LRN) Conference was hosted by Birmingham City University and Aston University at Aston’s Lakeside Conference Centre earlier this month. The LRN Conference is one of the main European forums for the presentation of research results, current practice and new ideas in SCM, logistics and transport. Papers were presented by academics, researchers and practitioners from over 30 countries. NITL has been represented at the great majority of the 18 LRN conferences to date and Edward Sweeney attended this year, chairing one of the conference sessions.
