NITL Congratulates Winners at the National Supply Chain Awards

(03 Jul 2012)

The inaugural Supply Chain Awards took place in the Four Seasons Hotel last week, with the top echelons of the supply chain community from both Irish and multinational companies represented. The Awards and networking luncheon were presided over by broadcaster, journalist and economic pundit Richard Curran. Richard was ably assisted by NITL’s Antonio de Linares.

The awards were founded after the registered interest received in establishing such a programme from the February Supply Chain 2012 conference, and also to afford the opportunity for specialist supply chain practitioners and vendors to put forward their work for review by the judging panel. NITL’s Edward Sweeney played a key role in the event in specifying categories and as a judge. Awards events of this nature help to raise the bar in terms of supply chain practice and encourage firms across all sectors to embrace key elements of leading edge supply chain thinking. Two of the key industry sector awards – public sector and FMCG – were presented by Pamela O’Brien of NITL.
