2nd International Conference on Logistics and Transport 2010

The 2nd International Conference on Logistics and Transport 2010, organized by the Thai Researchers’ Consortium of Value Chain Management and Logistics (Thai-VCML), the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (New Zealand) and Lincoln University, New Zealand will be held on 16 - 18 December 2010 at Rydges Hotels & Resorts, Christchurch, New Zealand.

‘Seed-Corn’ Research Fund 2010/2011: Submissions Invited from UK and Irish University Researchers

The fund provides a small research grant on a ‘seed-corn’ basis to enable logistics, supply chain and public transport/planning researchers based at UK and Republic of Ireland universities to explore issues of current, practical and academic interest. Preference will be given to projects, which aim to investigate or improve current practice. Closing date 30th April 2010.

LRN Logistics Dissertation Awards 2010

The 2010 Dissertation Awards are open to students based at UK and Republic of Ireland universities whose dissertations have been examined and passed during the calendar year 2009. No more than one submission per named degree course should be submitted and resubmissions will not be accepted. Closing Date for Submissions: 31 March 2010

Hudson Supply Chain White Paper

This White Paper has come on the back of Hudson hosting a European Supply Chain Community Conference in London in July of this year followed by a Chief Procurement Officer's survey done throughout the Supply Chain community around the world where Hudson have offices - namely in 35 countries. The White Paper is a summary of the findings and Hudson are keen to distribute these to as many Supply Chain Professionals as possible to read and comment on.
