The Irish Logistics and Transport Awards 2011 are now open for entries. The ILTAs are the Premier Awards programme for the Logistics and Transport sector in Ireland. There is no doubt that the individuals, companies and clients who comprise the Logistics and Transport sector are truly world-class operators. Logistics and transport encompasses strategy, future planning, transportation and supply chain integration. It adds value to business at every level and provides Ireland with a cutting edge in the international market place. Now in their second year, the ILTAs will once again honour excellence in the industry under the auspices of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. A new category has been added for the 2011 Awards, the Freight Forwarding Award.

The trophies will be handed over at a glamorous ceremony in the Burlington Hotel on Thursday, February 10th, hosted by former Prime Time presenter Mark Little. Awards judging will be under the auspices of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), the recognised professional body for all professionals involved in the transport and logistics industries in Ireland. A distinguished panel of Judges will be drawn from the highest echelons of the industry and will be co-ordinated by the Institute.
