Tom Ferris, former President of the Chartered Institute of  Transport has volunteered to deliver a lecture to all DIT Supply Chain students/staff on Friday the 22nd of April in recognition of European Supply Chain Day ( European Supply Chain day is actually on the 21st of April but Tom unfortunately is unavailable on this date).  Tom was the Senior Economist in the Department of Transport,  before becoming an independent consultant. As a consultant he does project work for the World Bank, the OECD and a number of private sector companies. He writes regularly on transport and public policy matters for the Chartered  Institute of Logistics and Transport  and Public Affairs Ireland.

‘Need to accelerate Investment in Transport’
